1.  This entails creating relevant content for you website. This means text, a lot of people still think that a good looking website with lots of images or flash will get them ranked, unfortunately search engines don’t read images or flash. The only way that your web site can be indexed is if the search engine spider can read the text that tells it what the site is about.

2.  The second thing is original content, there is no point in copying content from other websites as the search engines will see this as duplicate content, and this won’t get you on the first page. If you need to use some information from another site make sure that it differs at least 30%, but the best way to create your own content. There are website where you can check the uniqueness of your content.

3.  The last tip is to create relevant content with the keyword that you want to be ranked for. Create content with a keyword density of between 3 and 5 percent, don’t overdo it as this will be seen as spam. So decide what keyword you want to show up for and create content around that word or word phrase.
